Le Tour de Yinz: Part Deux

Justin & co are running the Tour de Yinz again this year. And it’s in the summer!
If you missed it last year, it was a great ride… except for the weather. Of course last year it was in November, so this year should be better.

i am so down for this – the hypothermia last year was a bummer – plus i lost a sweatshirt somehow

Maybe if i remember, i’ll bring the sweathshirt to this years race. i think its still in my closet.

i should totally wear the sweatshirt if you bring it, plus sweatpants and chuck taylors – rocky balboa style – in august

I’m gonna do the time trial but not the race. I’m actually a good time trialist. I wish I had some aerobars to clip on my bullhorns, but I hunkering down in the track drops will do just as well. I just hope the finish line is BEFORE the street, or else people will have to slow down at the finish.

Two questions:
1. What time does the prologue begin?
2. Where’s the start of the Southside bike trail? (Gimme a break, last time I lived here, it didn’t exist.)

The prologue will begin at 11 am on Saturday the 18th. It will be starting at the corner of Hot Metal St. and S. Water St.

Also, there will be a bbq after party about half way down the trail following the TT’ing. Food, beverages, and good times. I will be posting more info today or tomorrow so all the details are clear.

That is part of what makes this an Alleycat TT. Open course. People will need to take great care not to endanger other people that may be using the trail. Lots of “on your lefts”!

Well I guess to get a edge you have to TT, but what time is it I see somthing about 11am but is that the start or is the reg. How much does it cost? It’s race day 10am and I kept thinking these thing would get posted! I’m just really confused??????????
