Pittsburgh Alleycats

Sequels to two previous Pittsburgh alleycats are returning for this year’s Bike Fest.

First is the warm-weather follow-up to Jason’s down & dirty ad-hoc alleycat: Go Fast, Get There First Part 2.

Next is the return of Pittsburgh’s favorite ice cream themed alleycat (now under new management): The Creamcycle Revival.

Here’s to continuity.

I don’t know if it’s on the Bike Fest calendar, but there’s also some conventional alleycat style racing going on too:

Friday: Race at the Track
Sunday: The Zodicat

Saturday: rest a lot.

Pittsburgh Hardcourt Bike Polo once again welcomes you to spend 4th of July weekend with us. There will be tons of polo, grilling out, summer good times, and of course, FIREWORKS!

The Zodicat: a Babes on Bikes fundraiser

Justin just reminded me that this is happening tomorrow, so now I’m passing the reminder on to you. Should be good times!

I know you were all looking forward to The Celtic Cross, so it’s with a heavy heart I repost this message I got from Matt:

We spent an hour and a half trying to make the course work. We took multiple test rides and determined we need to postpone the race. The snow is way too thick. We’re thinking late March or even sometime in April would be safer. Stay tuned for updates. Sorry it didn’t workout!

That just gives you more time to get your bikes polished.
